Implementation Of Information System For Animal After Hour Services

Question: Discuss about the Implementation Of Information System For Animal After Hour Services. Answer: Introduction The purpose of the assignment is to justify the six articles to support the implementation of information system for Animal after Hour Services (AAHS). The chosen structure of this assignment is annotated bibliography consists of lost of citations of peer reviewed articles. AAHS are veterinary hospital which runs for few years within Brisbane Southside and Gold Coast. Due to great demand, the hospital has expanded their branch offices into other locations. Dr Terry King started the first AAHS clinic and excited about growth of the hospital. Dr Terry is worried about complexity as well as cost of set up the information system. The consultant provides options for information system which will address the concerns of AAHS. The participation of the stakeholders for development into healthcare informatics includes a promise that contribution of stakeholder influences the decision. The management strategies reduce and diminish resistance to the changes into the organization. The healthcare providers are generated of medical records and clinical systems to protect the data and keep them secured. The literature review analyzes six different articles based on the questions. It analyzes the best solutions required for AAHS, engagement of stakeholders into implementation of information system into the organization and provides features of integrated health system. The paper also identifies the security issues into the organization due to implementation of information system. This article mentions the design of hospital integrated information system (HIMS) which is based on cloud platform. This information system is required for the future operations of AAHS. This cloud based technology is a technical solution to the information technology. It becomes a future direction and development of AAHS hospital services. The business and system related problems are about safety, security of the data across the sites, logistical issues like patient treatment notes, staff files, timesheet of the staffs, processing of payroll as well as conducting of the regular staff meetings. I will use this article to support the responses to the question numbers one, three and four. In my point of view, hospital management information system is the best business solutions for AAHS. Based on the cloud platform, it reduces the investment into the data along with improving maintainability of the system (Aijing Jin 2015, p.522). These article is discussed the business and system problems, informational requirements of the hospital and managing their business problems, making business decisions and fulfilling the information requirements. The purpose of HIMS is to manage the aspects of the operations of hospital like financial, legal and administrative problems. It also manages information which is related to patient records as well as hospital inventory. There is requirement of information system for improving access to the patients information throughout use of electronic information system. It streamlines the information flow of patient with accessibility of doctors and healthcare providers (Aijing Jin 2015, p.525). Those changes improve the healthcare services by improving quality of patients care and save time of the patients. The stakeholders those are engaged into the healthcare operations of AAHS are doctors, patients and healthcare providers. The organizations are based on internet, intranet and extranet for engaging the stakeholders to adopt of information system. Internet serves the business to create opportunities to network, communication and collaborate with the stakeholders. There is need of digital communication to store, access and develop the electronic patients records. Extranet Connects of different intranets to facilitate of cooperation for the information sharing. I will use this article to support the responses to the questions three and five as stakeholder engagement is highly required into implementation of management information system to gain competitive advantage of AAHS. The stakeholders say the decisions about the actions which affect the implementation of information system (Yip, Phaal Probert 2014, p.57). Connectivity among the health ICT and operating environment emerged which provide impact on decisions of the engagement of stakeholder into early stage of the development stages. Engagement of the stakeholders maximizes the potential to use of healthcare information. The article is begun by introducing reader to the integrated health system. The heath information system is implemented for AAHS to manage their business problems, make business decisions and fulfill the information requirements. It maintains quality of healthcare throughout shared vision along with strategic planning in medical center. It is analyzed that the system helps to work as single operating entity and align to improve both efficiency along with effectiveness of cost. Based on the observational study, communication and transfer of information at the hospital is based on time, accuracy as well as quality. Lack of information related to discharge is compromised of quality of patients care. This particular article is useful to answer question four as it provides features of the integrated health system. It provides examples of how the system is used for fulfilling the informational requirements. The article explains the functionalities of the system by providing a use of electronic health records for achieving improvements into the healthcare. It seeks cooperation to build healthcare information exchange which allows to share along with integrate patient health related information among the healthcare stakeholders (Wolff et al. 2016, p.1152). The article summarizes the integrated system by helping the community to work as single operating entity focused to improve care of patient, operational efficiency along with effectiveness of cost. This article investigates success rate of development of information system by the empirical research. The author of the article examines interaction, participation throughout early as well as late stages for analyzing the involvement of users into the implementation of information system. It is analyzed that user expectations improve chances of success in a project. The development of information system triggers many organizational changes that will provide impact on the stakeholders. Conflict among the stakeholders provides impact on the success rate of the development. The article examines two hypotheses for the study which defines that user readiness is important factor for success rate of development of information system. This particular article is relevant to the case study as it explains the functional user impact of the development of information system into an organization; therefore there is some change management into the organization. This article provides answer to question five and six. This article also provides evidence on the changes within the organization. The attitude of user is being influenced by effective communication from the side of management team. The article analyzes use of information system into business problems and also for business opportunities. The success rate of the IT project is correlated with the organizational maturity for the enterprise (James He Sheu 2014, p.909). The purpose of this article is to aspire, innovate as well as streamline the processes. It also explains the organizational changes which provide positive as well as negative impacts into the organization. The article also analyzes the changes that might affect the organization. Due to negative effect of the changes, it meets with resistance into the organization. It also provides critical factors along with effective strategies for success into the business. The information system provides significant importance into the competitive environments. This particular article is useful to give answers to the Question 6 and 7, as it discusses about the change management into the business organizations. It also provides some risks related to the introduction of information system. It explains that implementation of information system meets with change resistance those required use of the system. It also outlines the change management strategies within the organization to manage the influences. The article also explains how the management should manage the changes which affect the success. The management strategies reduce and diminish resistance to the changes into the organization (Misra et al. 2017, p.250). The article also examines the risk management into the organization due to development of information system. This article explains the possible security and ethical issues in information system. It analyzes the big data privacy as well as security issues into the healthcare information system. There are huge amount of data are being generated from the big data. It explores impact of the big data security risks into information. Security of the healthcare data is becomes a big challenge for the organization. This particular article is provided answer to question 7 as it helps to identify the security issues into the organization due to implementation of healthcare information system. The healthcare organizations are facing of security threats which also increase risk to access to the patients information. There are also risks due to inability to access of the information, impaired informational integrity and improper access to the patients data (Pragash Jayabharathy 2017, p.95). It analyzes that the security issues provide impacts on both organization and stakeholders. The article provides of emerging ways to secure the information. References Aijing, L. Jin, Y., 2015.
